Thanks again Coach Melik.
Why not 2.d7 ? I cannot see any way to stop the pawn from queening...
Thank you Grandmaster Melik.
Why not d7 on the 2 min spot??
hi the best :) :( lol :0:;;;;;;;;;;:)
I had issues playing the videos on google chrome. working fine now.
They'll get there. In the meantime, log in via Safari rather than the App.
My iPad can play through that.
OK! I have the answer here if u dont see the VIDEO!!! U Go on Mozilla Firefox and use Microsoft reader. Its working! Dont wait the staff, they never give me the solution!!! A+ & Good luck!!
Last time, (3 weeks ago) the staff gave us the same story...I had to call (& paid) wizz kid. My video card receive a virus. PlS not again!!!
Awesome advice and a great lesson! On a technical note... I can only watch videos on Internet Explorer but only make comments on Google Chrome... why is this (???) Looks like I need to give Mozilla Firefox another try...
hi. i bought a membership specifically for videos and then went and bought a laptop so i could view them thinking "well, it must be my android phones incapable of viewing them so i'll get a computer". so its a problem with the site? has this been a while?
RCTMid: We have been working out these issues, sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We have at least temporarily made it "viewable" on every device. Please allow us a few hours to fix the cosmetic issues and make the viewing experience more pleasurable!
Let us know if you still have any playable issues!
Very good - thank you for doing this! I was hoping to see Hou's ending against Giri and Magnus's win over Karjakin. Since those were almost perfectly conducted endings, I don't imagine they fit in with the topic though. I thought Hou's especially instructive because she continually avoided a "fortress" that was always threatened by Giri.
Excellent advice....before you give up material when on the defensive, be sure the resulting position is clearly drawn. Otherwise, don't do it!
It is to short a video to really get any kind of compulsion to invest in purchasing, to get this feature. when you see all the free stuff you can get online one would think chess.com would make a better attempt to compel clients to invest into their offers that do not to me at this point seem any thing better than what is offered for free on many other sites,SRY thumbs down...
I wouldnt be so upset if i felt someone was actually trying to do something about it. I contacted support and they were able to confirm the problem and get a coue of them working. But literally every new one that comes out doesnt work on my ipad or iphone. Just tell me youre trying to do something to fix it...
I am a diamond member. Im close to demanding a refund because 6 of the last 7 videos wont play on my ipad or iphone. These vids are why i pay. Get it fixed. Why is this suddenly a problem?
GM Melikset Khachiyan
Here Melik provides two final examples from the recent Tata Steel Super-GM Tourney in the Netherlands. Rather than highlighting bad technique as he did in part 2, here he focuses on where these strong GMs could have improved their defensive technique. He highlights the need to look to give up small amounts of material for activity or to head towards endings you know are drawn (like Opposite Colored Bishop Endings).
